The aim of the Talks Committee is to provide opportunities for members to meet and share experiences, develop interpersonal skills and keep abreast of developments relevant to the Profession.

We have several events planned over the coming year starting with the Faculty Welcome Day on 9th October. This is aimed at new student members and will give them the chance to meet with key figures within the Profession and find out about the experiences of current students.

Other planned events include a Careers Talk at Heriot-Watt University, Softer Skills Training, a round up of current topics in the key actuarial practice areas and other technical talks.
