The second annual FASS Charity Race Night took place on Thursday 4 June at The Three Sisters on Cowgate. There was a lot of fighting spirit with a room full of eager attendees cheering on their chosen horses in each race. The night ended with an auction race, with fiercely fought bids for each horse on offer. In the end a consortium from Standard Life with their horse called “Hannah” took the win with a last gasp surge over the final few yards. Overall, FASS was able to raise £372 for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation, including £67 of the auction race winners’ takings that was kindly donated. Everyone had a great time, even those that lost more bets than they won! Thanks to everyone that came along, and those who bought horses, for making the night a huge success. Photos here
