The ever-popular FASS Wine Tasting took place on Wednesday 25th February at the Great Grog on Rose Street.  This year’s event had a new twist with the inclusion of a “Call My Wine Bluff” quiz.  The quiz involved a tasting demonstration followed by each team having to use their newfound knowledge to guess which description matched each wine they tasted (with bonus points for guessing the grape, country of origin and price of a bottle).

It was a closely fought battle with most teams scoring highly.  Having gone to a tiebreak, the team from AEGON emerged victorious and were the winners of a bottle of one of the tasting wines.

Overall, the night was a great success with all attendees having a good laugh and learning something about wine or at least the difference between a description of Lily Allen and that of a pinot-grigio!
