This year FASS are looking to offer more benefits to our selected charity than just raising money at our social events. For the year 2008/09 our chosen charity is The Sick Kids Friends Foundation - www.edinburghsickkids.org. This is a charity set up in 1992 to support the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. One of the ways that FASS members can help us support this charity at the moment is to raise money by running in the Edinburgh Relay Marathon on Sunday 31st May. All you have to do is get a team of four together and then contact Rachel Mckenzie at The Sick Kids Friends Foundation by clicking on the link found at www.edinburghsickkids.org/EdinburghMarathon.html Over the next few months FASS hope to announce projects which will be taking place in the spring at the Hospital that you can volunteer to help out in. By donating some of your time, you can help the foundation take on more projects aimed at improving the experience for over 100,000 children and their families. FASS Committee
